First check battery cable to see if it's loose, then check fuses, then check grounds. Oh yeah make sure battery is fully charged.

Good Morning, i have an issue with my 2015 Hyosung GT 125 RC Super Sport has died.


Check the battery voltage on the parts you can get to. Possible dead battery or broken wire.
Is there no warranty on it?

2007 hyosung gt650r. It wont turn over anymore. Checked spark plugs and coils, peacock and carburetor hoses are good. New battery. Any suggestions?


Hi, Ismael and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Bank angle sensor tripped and ignition/light key switch not cycled to the "OFF" position and then back to the "ON" position.
5. Faulty starter button/switch.
6. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
7. Security alarm needs a reset.
8. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
9. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
10. Electric starter shaft pinion gear is not engaging or over-running starter clutch slipping.

Try looking at the ignition fuses, could also be a bad earth to the starter motor. When you turn the key do the lights dim at all,

2008 Hyosung GT250R will not turn over


Hi, Mcle_cool before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter have failed or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

I replaced my NGK CR8E spark plugs with the new NGK CR8EIX Iridiums on my 2009 Hyosung GV650...and immediately after starting up the bike, I heard an electrical buzz in the front of the bike and shortly...


Hi, Skjc01 before diagnosing any turn signal/running light/parking light issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If you have replaced your OEM lights with LED lights you are going to need a load equalizer. If no turn signals work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity.

Hi, I'm sorry if tis is a stupid question but I only just got this hyosung and I went to start it, foolishly without the choke on, it started to turn over and then konked out.. now I can't get to start at...


check the start solenoid voltage, starter side, key on, run switch on, start switch pressed. have volts - check same at starter where wire attaches.

No starting


Bad hot wire, bad cround or bad starter. Use jumper cables to jump from battery directly to the starter. If it doesn't turn over the starter has a problem. If it does, than you have eather a bad ground or hot lead going to the starter. Use a DC volt meter or a test light to see if its got power coming from the starter button. Do all that and you'll know the answer.
