SOURCE: speedo cable keeps braking on mojito 125 2008

you might find that the speedo drive is stiff or seized a bit so its snapping the cables ,take it off and spray it with penertration fluid and see if it releases

Sounds like one of two things. The electrical system (ignition coil) is breaking down. The fuel system ventilation system is blocked.
