battery is good turns over fast.and the bike is fuel injected,so dnt think i have a carb. fan.i thought it was flooded the first time this happened so i gave it gas and tried to start it then it just backfired bad.is there some kind of air sensor telling it not to start in hot weather?battery is good turns over fast.and the bike is fuel injected,so dnt think i have a carb. fan.i thought it was flooded the first time this happened so i gave it gas and tried to start it then it just backfired bad.is there some kind of air sensor telling it not to start in hot weather?
SOUNDS LIKE VAPOR LOCK, DOES THE CARB FAN WORK? DOES THE BATTERY CHECK OK, DOES IT TURN FAST OR SLOW WHEN IT TRIES TO START?SOUNDS LIKE VAPOR LOCK, DOES THE CARB FAN WORK? DOES THE BATTERY CHECK OK, DOES IT TURN FAST OR SLOW WHEN IT TRIES TO START?

take the old battery out and hook a full battery directly to the terminals .the old battery could be so bad ,it will "load" down another battery.or use a pair of jumper cables and a car battery even better
Plug the block heater in , End get a good battery for it, get awinter battery, Not a california battery, Then it might start, If the engine has seen it,s better days, End don,t use snake oil in it, Use real oil.
Sounds like the coil has gone bad. This is usually the syptoms of this. When it is in the non crand status cool the coil down quickly with ice and see if it doesnt crank.
run a can of Seaforam in the tank..purchase from Autozone put in 1/3 to two gallons gas drive it around for at least 10 miles to insure it cleans out the whole carb system.if that doesnt work, check all carb hose fittings when bike is at idle spray some Chemtool B-12 ( also at Autozone) around the carb hoses and manifolds..if idle increses thats your problem. Caution: chemtool is very toxic wear gloves and a mask.
Check the vent on the gas tank. Open the lid when it is hot and see if alot of pressure escapes, if so the furl tank vent is plugged and building up pressure to flood the engine.
Ouch! you've got engine coolant in the exhaust from a leak somewhere...DO NOT run this engine until you get someone (dealer is best in this instance) to diagnose ($50-125)
Most sports bikes are limited to 300km/h by the manufacturers in an effort to be responsible.
Actually the ? was about the 1000 not "most sport bikes". The Suzuki gsxr1000 for 2007 is rev limited to 184 mph. U do the math to figure out kph but in the U.S. who cares about the metric numbers.
