sounds like a problem with the starter motor. You can jump start a bike without a starter motor. (if thats what you meant by push start). I had a simaliar problem. It sounds like a loud ticking when starter button pushed, I changed the bushes in the starter motor, and it fired up 1st time. Check that first (you will need new o-rings if you take the starter out and appart!)

Depends if the oil and filter and oil cooler have been dismantled. If not and only the old oil has been drained it should be approx 4lr's, should state this under the oil filler as a guide. If its a complete strip down and rebuild your'll need at least 4.5ltr - 5ltr's so put in 4.5 and run for 5 mins, then check level

The gauges have to all read the same, this is syncronizing the carbs, so all cylnders are working together.

The correct tyre size for your 1998 zx6r g model is 170/60/17 the earlyer f model was 160/60/17 and the later j models were 180/60/17
