When the red oil led is flashing on the bike when your not running it and with the key out, that is the immoblizer working.

If you have put on an after market exaust,the servo electric limiter of the stock exaust is not working and the ecu reads a problem

Oil Light Won't shut off

Underneath the oil pan there is an oil sensor which works the same as your fuel gauge, with a floater.This must be probably stuck all the way down from the oil change.
