SOURCE: I traded a fellow for a Big Red Motorcycle Jack, and neither he nor I can get the jack to operate. I need instructions on how to use this jack. It is rated for 1500 lbs. Thank you.

The the handle or valve clockwise to lift the jack. If it doesn't lift. The seals are bad.

There is either air in the system, not enough fluid in it, the valve that lowers it is not closed or the orings are bad.

Air doesn't drive press

I suspect that you will need a pneumatic pump to replace the hand pump to get this to work as you need a multiplier to get the pressure high enough to make the press work at full pressure.

You purchased jack stands, they aren't intended to lift the car, merely to support them after you've raised the car with a jack.

Big red 10 ton body jack would not extend ram

problems come to mind Firstly the release valve will not tighten to seat the ball to stop the oil from recirculating and so not pump up the ram. Second there is no oil in the jack reservoir to pump up with. I would check oil level first.
