You have written some conflicting information. How can you know that your engine has no spark if it will not turn over? No problem, please write back and elaborate on its issue, symptoms, engine codes and things you have checked and tested so far. At this point I would start looking around. Inspect the battery and power distribution box. Check that the battery connections are clean and tight. Check that the ground cable, going to the body panel is clean and tight. Check all the fuses for damage (over heating or corrosion) and the same for the relays. Is the antitheft system working (does it recognize your ignition key?)? When you turn the ignition hey to the RUN position. Does the gauge cluster respond like it always does? Do you see the lights come on and go out and can you read the odometer mileage? Please write back and let me know. Good Luck.
SOURCE: car wont start
these cars go through coil packs regularly as the packs overheat due to their position on the end of the engine. I have 3 lanos and have replaced all coil packs at around 90,000 k's.
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: Ignition coil??
Its the distributor that needs to be replaced. Its probably the coil alone that bad but the coil is built into the distributor, so you will have to replace as one unit. Make sure when replacing the distributor you set the car in base timing thats the rotor head tointed to cylinder #1 and number on piston on TDC(topdead center)before you remove distributor shaft then repalce in the same position and your problem should be solved. Good Luck

Some dodges have an oblong shaped white ceramic block, either mounted on the firewall or on inner fender well, with wire connections, one on each end, if there is one, replace it.

if truck has a ceramic ballist resistor near and connected to coil this could be problem or the crk posistion sensor could be too, i would change ballast first if you have on your truck appx cost $10
