The handle came off. I need to know how to release break with the handle gone.
If the handle has gone there is no easy way to release the brake, it is now a case of removing the two bar nuts and use a screw driver into the area between the guide bar and the cover to lever it off, once off either a new brake complete or new hand guard, it is possible to refit a hand guard and pull back to release the brake, it is not too easy so good luck.

Outboard drums (drums on the outside of the clutch) are held on by a nut or e-clip.
Inboard drums are held on by the clutch which is threaded onto the crankshaft. And there is the challange.
***NOTE all chain saw clutches have LEFT hand threads, so, rightey loosey, lefty tightey. (just backwards from everything else)
*** NOTE #2: DO NOT USE AN IMPACT GUN
this will most certainly shear the flywheel key or damage the flywheel !!!!! (after 35 years, you can ask me how I know that, LOL)
1) Use a piston stop to hold piston from moving: THIS IS A MUST !!!
Ok, so you do not have one, let's make one.
a) remove the spark plug
b) insert a piece of recoil rope into the cylinder hole, leaving a tail to remove it by. (rope, large shoe string, anything that is soft, that is aprox 1/4 to 5/16 in diameter to place into the spark plug hole to help the piston to stop it's travel by filling up the empty space. Just make sure you can remove it later)
c) secure the saw (extra set of hands may be needed) and with a suitable wrench on the clutch center, rotate the clutch to the right until piston comes to a stop. With a hammer, tap the wrench to aid in rotation. This can be very difficult, and may take several taps.
d) after removed, inspect and grease the drum bearing before re-assemlby.
e) upon re-assembly of clutch, tighten by hand only, NO hammer required. The force of the chain will tighten the clutch.
f) remove the rope, and re-install the spark plug.

Hello Larsens;
A Poulan "2150 Predator Gas Type 6" IPL follows (may not be your saw)(the LE suffix is a Wood Shark) http://www.ordertree.com/modelinfo/PWE/2150-Predator-Gas-Saw-Type-6/75.2150-Predator-Gas-Saw-Type-6.1.59.1.html
There is no breakdown, they want you to order a new cover $20±. The cover appears on different print names with different models (Handle & External Assembly) above.

The dash number of your serial number is the type.
Do you have a friend with a cover you can look at? The brake will need to be lached open (enlarged) to refit the clutch cover on your saw.
Detail A here is a good representation of a Husky chain brake, they are all similar and this may be helpful.

if using a good quality 2 stroke oil brand
mix it @ ratio 50:1 that is 100 mils of oil per 5 litres of petrol
or on a 1 litre basis it would be 20 mils of oil per litre
but !!!! if you are using generic 2 stroke oil from a garage
run it on 25:1 mix that is 40 mils of oil per litre of petrol
be sure to put required qty of in clean container 1st then add petrol qty to the can and give good shake , then fill your saw
