One of two things I think, if you are using low octane "Regular" gas in this can and it says it requires premium, the car could be retarding the timing which could cause a knock on idle.
you could also check the compression for a loose valve that could be causing the knock, otherwise you might have a bent rod, which it sounds like you might. The kock will get progressively worse until you fry your engine and have to buy a new one. Good Luck. Talk to a mechanic.

to change the oil you need to remove the sump plug, located on the underside of the sump. the plug is a bolt on the botom of the engine. once the bolt is removd, oil will drain out rapidly so have a container ready to catch the oil.once drained put the sump plug back in and refil with new oil.

Either the fuel filter or pump has gone bad. If the car sat for awhile, there is sediment and grime and grit in a gas tank that will settle to the bottom. My guess is when you started it you got some of that debris in the filter. Either that or someone put sugar in your gas tank. Or cut your gas line. That stuff happens sometimes unfortunately. Hope it helps and good luck.
