Question about Honda Motorcycles
Normal operating temp for any engine is 85 C to 95 C
thermostat starts to open at 85C and is fully open at 95 C allowing full coolant circulation through the radiator
Fans start at around 85C
On most temp gauges this about 1/2 a gauge dial 85 C is the optimum temp for a internal combustion engine to operate at and thermostats are designed to try and maintain that temp
