It is not hard to do but it would be best to get the drag pipes. there are a host of problems to think of though. you will need to rejet the carbs to accomodate the free up in back pressure. you will need the tourque slipins for the pipes. they will fit right into the pipes where they connect at the heads. the 1300 is going to be super loud without the baffels. like getting stopped by the law loud. it would be best to get a tuned drag setup from a dealer as to get the sound you are looking for as well as keep it below jonnie laws radar.

Would it affect it if you had it jetted and didn't free up the back pressure?

My Honda VTX 1300 backfires when I close the throttle or when I shift down. What should I do. It sounds like a gun shot

Your bike is running lean (too much air and not enough fuel). What, if any, modifications have you done to the bike? If you changed the exhaust out for louder pipes, you need to adjust the f/a (fuel/air) mixture in the carburetor to compensate for more air going through the bike. Let me know here if you have made any type of mods to the bike.

ok first you got to find the link that takes the chain apart after you do that loosen the bolts that hold the tire on if you cant do that you can use a breaker bar or put a pipe or on the end of you rachet that will give you more leverage. then sloed the tire forword so you can undo the chain and slide tire off
