2009 Ninja 650R main 30amp fuse keeps blowing even with bike turned off (takes 3 minutes with bike off for it to blow). Been threw 3 new fuses and cant located the issue. Please advise me what to do?

Ive had my bike at a workshop for the last 4weeks getting a freshn up . ... If the fuse isblowing that quick you should be able to find it quickly , probably .... eliminated the dash and reduced the amount of things you need to look at. .... you need to inspect all AC WIRING, to find the SHORT, thats causing the fuse to blow ! donot put another fuse in until you locate the shorted condition, ( bad connection, frayed wire, bare wire touching metal along this circuit, you might have a bad switch, your ac has two switches under hood, one @ high pressure side and one @ low pressure side. and your main control switch, check all wires & connections

Hi you have a grounded wire remove the fuse use a ohm meter or battery powered test light test the outgoing lead and to the frame if it lights up or registers on the meter backtract to see if the wire is grounded insulation worn off or pinched on the frame.

Have your voltage regulator checked a bad regulator will blow big fuses like a 30amp, hope this helps.

Yeah, you have a short somewhere in the electrical system, or your alternator is overcharging.
