My ajs jsm 50 2014 doesn’t seem to have any compression, I try to start it with the kick start and it has no give in it and then I try on the battery start it tries to start but doesn’t. There’s no...

I'll need a bit more information to help.
When you use the kick start does it move freely every kick, stiffen every second or third kick or completely lock up and not move?
On the start button does it just spin or does it cough and try to start?
That engine is a '2 stroke' engine which needs a correct mix of 2 stroke oil and fuel to run correctly. If the mix is too thin the pistons dry out, overheat and seize.
The issue you have could be a few things. A blown head gasket, A badly fitted spark plug, Worn piston rings or a cracked cylinder head or block.
Once you have ruled out poor spark, poor air supply and poor fuel supply the most likely reason will be the piston rings.
The only way to check compression accurately is with a compression tester gauge. These are not expensive and usually simple to use.

My kick starter just locked up

1). Confirm that the transmission is really in nuetral, or insure that the clutch is pulled in.

2). Have you tried removing the spark plug to insure that you do not have a hydraulic lock due to excess fuel in the cylinder? With spark plug removed, any excess fuel should be expelled out the open spark plug hole. CAUTION: INSURE THAT THE SPARK PLUG LEAD IS DISCONNECTED, AND HELD AWAY FROM THE OPEN CYLINDER TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL IGNITION OF EXCESS FUEL.

2003 Yamaha ttr90r the kick starter will not catch when trying to start. It would do it at times and then it would catch and start. Now it will not catch at all. The gears do not appear to be worn. I have...

You have to remember that there are a few sets of gears that might be worn and you say that they do not appear to be worn have you tried to kick the bike while looking at the gears ( kicking the bike with out any spark plugs will make it easy to operate the leaver because there will be no compression in the motor) .

I am working on a 99 kx 125 with fresh top end, 150 psi compression, clean carb and all new gaskets. When i kick it, it does not try to start but about every other kick it

Check the plug is getting wet, if so try again with the air filter removed. also check for a spark when turning it over. The other thing it could be is the exhaust, you could try to start it with the baffle removed, if this works you will need to clean the baffle as they become gummed up with 2 stroke oil.

Hello, I have a problem with an intermittent &

sounds like you have a poor earth connection, possibly between the coil and the frame, try quickly rigging up a cable from the mounting point on the coil, to a bare metal part of the bike (or nagative battery terminal if available), and try again.
Hope this helps

TOYOTA TAZZ KICK BACK...

It sounds like it is loosing spark somewhere on the ignition circuit. e.g HT leads, distributor cap, one or more spark plugs faulty. The above usually happens when the engine is taking more load than usual, like going up a hill and the r.p.m at about 1500 - 3000.Try it again in a lower gear 1st or 2nd with the motor r.p.m high, about 5000 revolutions per minute.

I have an 1974 kiwasaki ke100 and i was riding it and all of a sudden my bike stalls and when i tried to kickstart it to try to start it back up the kick starter wouldnt let me kick it down it seemed to be...

this could be really bad or really easy. first, lets hope its vapor lock. take your spark plug out and see if it will turn. if yes, kick it a few times and replace spark plug. if not then we need to see if the kickstarts malfunctioning or the motors lock. put the bike in about third gear, grab the clutch and pull it in, now run beside and push the bike with the clutch in, get some speed and dump the clutch. Hopefully the engine will start turning over, in fact if you have the switchs on you can start the bike this way. If the engine does not turn over like that then you have a drivetrain problem, without seeing the bike theres no way to pinpoint it. Lets just hope the steps above work and you dont have any major problems, good luck.
