SOURCE: 2003 Wideglide check engine light (bad TSSM?)

I would not replace anthing yet! An intermittent light could mean that you simply have a wiring short! Get someone to help by watching your engine light, start your bike and do a wriggle test oun your wiring harness. You may find it to be no more than a simple wiring problem at the connector. You said there are no stored codes and the bike is running fine? No missing of sputtering? If not I would think the problen is no more than a possible temporary short in the wiring at the sensors

SOURCE: what is the average oil temperature for a 2005

Well it depends on the ambient temperature. Your bike sounds like it's in about the correct temp range on the oil temperature. This is why Harley went to using synthetic oil. It has a higher breakdown temperature than petroleum based oil.

Good luck

Break lights, turn signals, dash light, speedometer all quit. Head light and tail light still work. 2002 FXDWG. MAYBA TSSM OR SOMETHING ELSE ???

Check your fuses. The headlight and tail lights are usually on separate and isolated fuses. The other systems may be on the same fuse.

05 fxdwg back fire when I let off the throttle

Bike fire through the pipes at deceleration is usually caused by a leak or leaks in the exhaust system, usually at a muffler joint, etc., sometimes at the exhaust port itself. To fix, locate the suspected joint and tighten the associated clamp. If this does not cure the issue, you may have an over fueling issue. Is the bike fuel injected?

When do you tune up 05 fxdwg

You don't "tune" motorcycles like you did in the old days. They have electronic ingition systems in which no parts wear out and they never change unless something goes bad. I put a set of spark plugs in mine at 30,000 mile but the one's I had in the bike were fine. As long as it's running good, leave it alone.

Is the fuel pump suppose to make a noise while driving

It'll make a noise but it shouldn't be loud enough for you to hear it while riding unless you have ears like a cat. Ask a buddy to let you ride his fuel injected bike and see if you can hear his pump.

Good Luck
