Try contacting Yamaha direct or a reputable outboard dealers for the address, they will point you in the right direction, like all motors manufactured the makers keep a record of the serial number, i recently tracked this down for a friends Perkins Diesle engine that is running a generator in the middle of Spain, it turns out that his engine came from a 1912 lorry.
Good luck

most 2 stroke motors will not burn all the oil in the mix and that unburned oil coats the exhaust leg and leaks out the thru hub exhaust and parting line of the lower to the housing. so keep some windex handy and clean it up.
