Sounds like it overheated & seized, when you let it cool down, it started again. Two things to check is the coolant level, if very low then it could be a head gasket or waterpump seal problem.

The other is for two stroke oil, check the oil lever & that the two stroke pump is working. Previous owner could have been also running it on a pre-mix of oil & fuel in the tank, ask them about it.

check for oil leaks after you clean all the oil over flow,. and the tranny and belt ,. when you put to much oil in, the crank shaft will foam up the oil and pop a seal, then you have leaks, in all the wrong places,

should be on both brakes take it to the dealer for full upgrade, not safe !!!!

dead battery or a fuse gone ! try turning on indicators , horn , lights ! does the side stand or brake lever have a stop switch on them ? P...

drill out lock, its simple, drill bit in keyhole and push until go all the way thru, lock will fall apart with little caressing

air filter worth checking first, if not that then fuel restriction, check fuel tap. fuel in carb bowl..
