Hi my radio and screen is not working

the lcd screen is bad your best bet is to replace with after market

Hi.. my radio/satnav is turing on but it freezes on bmw logo and turns back off... any suggestions?

your anti theft system may be causeing it you may have to enter a code into your radio any time you replace battery code has to be entered dealer will help you if you call them

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL.CHANGE FLUID AND FILTER.IF YOU GOT 100000 MILES.IF ALL IS GOOD PROBLEM COULD BE IN SOLENOID VALVES NOT WORKING OR VALVE BODY PRESSURE REGULATOR.THE LIST OF PROBLEMS YOU HAVING IS A BMW DEALERSHIP JOB.BECAUSE ITS A HI TECH CAR TAKE SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO WORK ON IT.

I know this is an old thread, but my 2006 325i Nav screen went bank also, but the radio still played. I noticed the glove box light and trunk light did not turn on also. I was told from mechanics is was probably a CID module for $2200, even though I mentioned the glove box and trunk light light were out and specifically inquired about a fuse. The mechanics never checked the fuses, because I checked my fuses in the glove box and found the fuse 61 marked with a BMW symbol that looks like light bulb was blown. The Nav screen started back up once the fuse was changed.

yes have right and this can cost you lots of money.i will remove the unit and ask a radio shop to open it and remove the cd copy right a cd can no work in the bmw units and for just paying the little extra you would have enjoyed the nav unit even more
