Where is the lock to unlock the seat on a 1996 Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder

I checked the service manual. It only mention "remove the pillion seat and driver seat by loosening securing bolts". Not sure if it unlocks and opens.

Check the sidestand switch and the clutch switch. Both of these will give the same problem.

it would turn into an overdrive gear--a whole new 5 sp box is probly the answer--theres more shifting in traffic--to me 4 is enough-thats all olschool bikes had---------youd have to git with a customizer-there found in drag mags or online

Please adjust / fix your brake switch.

Factory recommended plugs are the best. Ask your local dealer, and he will give you the correct plugs. If you are fouling plugs, look for a too rich mixture, or carbs flooding.

start with the back commpartment.open it there will be a bolt .thats for back seat. next bolt is for front seat.
