2014 bmw 1200rt motorcycle, while ridding the suspension went solid on strapping it down on a trailer it freed off with a bang any thoughts is it safe to ride ? thanks.

Why did you ratchet it down till it was hard you only need to ratchet it down enough to stop it moving around
if it returned to the normal height after releasing the straps and when you sit on it and bounce on the seat and it compresses and rebounds ok it should be safe to ride
I have had my gs strapped down multiple times with no I'll effects

Unfortunately, the service indicator can only be reset via the dealer computer. The aftermarket GS-911 code reader is supposed to have this feature soon or maybe already has it.

there should be a BMW seat that will be lower than the original as an op extra , my mate has one for his 1200RT 2008. You can adjust the rear shock to lower your ride hight but get some hands on help,
