94 blazer 1500 starts idles or rev to 5000 when in park or neutral. in drive idles ok but stumbles and dies when you accelerate under load.it takes awhile to reach 75 mphd it will kick down to climb a hill but come to a stop it will die unless i place it in neutral before i stop with brake applied or not. replaced: cap, rotor, temp sensor (in the head not the manifold),map sensor,fixed all grounded wires on the block and body and battery.

You either have a defective idle speed control valve or you have a huge vacuum leak on the engine like an intake manifold or warped throttle valve or throttle bore opening around the throttle valve, I have seen both...

High revs in park and neutral

What is the car? This sounds like it could be a throttle position sensor, (TPS). This monitors how hard you are pressing the gas pedal and if it is faulty it won't be reading the pedal movement correctly. Other symptoms are uneven idle and the acceleration isn't smooth or even.

yes try getting the fuel pump pressure tested by a mechanic. the other thing it can be is the injectors are plugged try running some lucas fuel system cleaner.

Disconnect your battery black wire off for 1/2 hour reconnect turn on all assesorys lights radio blower start car leave run for 5 min shut off for 5 min idle is controled by the computer the load
brings the idle up. Should be ok if not you may have to ajust the idle screw a little and then do this all over

You might want to check the engine for a vacume leak.Once the rpm's drop it may have a big enough vacume leak to not keep it running under a load.

Your electrical problem sound like there is a bad body ground or your ecm is going bad, as far as the other issue the 4.3's in the chevy blazer are notorious for the EGR valve going bad my stepson had a 94 blazer that had the same engine problem and it was the EGR valve and they are not cheap i think his was over $160.

Does the engine accerlerate in neutral? Or does it die at higher speed in neutral??? If so you may have a plugged up exhaust system. Try disconnecting or loosneing up the flange before the catalic converter and then see if it runs normal.
