I put my kfx700 in time on the rear cylender and it is blowing back through the carb

if you jumped time or broke the chain then it sounds like a bent intake valve. you'll have to take the head off to straighten it.

My four wheeler it will start but won't accelarate

you have a dirty pilot jet. remove the carb, then remove the jet. hold the jet up to the light and make sure it is completely clear before putting it back in the carb.

How do we keep our four wheeler running? it won't idle. it dies.

Sounds like a passageway may still be clogged. I suggest that you try dipping it in carb solution for a couple of hours, then rinse and blow out everything.

2004 arctic cat 650 twin back fires and pops at carb. rear exhaust pipe getting red hot

Hi Shawn, Check the ignition timing and inlet manifold gaskets and all vacuum hose connections. If all is okay carry out a compression test, looking specifically for burned valves, but timing would seem to be the likely problem. Regards John

Where can I find the exact timing sequence for a suzuki four wheeler

every four wheeler I've ever worked on has the ignition timing fixed and controlled by the CDI. Mechanical timing usually invovles lining up the T on the flywheel with a mark on the cam shaft. you'll need a service manual for more specifics.

New ATV. Ran 1 hour. Sitting for 6 months. Changed gas - but is popping back through carb

sounds like the gas that was left in the carb. has turned bad and clogged the jets. the only right way to fix it is to pull the carb off the bike and take the bottom bowl off. once done you can take some carb. cleaner and spray out all the jets and crevices inside the carb. hopefully this fixes your problem. if not then you will need to pull the carb. completely apart and give it a good soaking. once you have soaked it for an hour or so take some compressed air and blow out any holes. be sure to blow it out good. once done put the carb. back together and give it a shot. this should fix it right up for ya.
