Use a numbered drill set, measure the jet size using the drill bit set, then select a drill bit two numbered sizes larger and drill out the main jet, that should get you in the ball park. Here is a link to a numbered Drill bit set. 60 Pc Titanium Nitride Coated High Speed Steel Numbered Drill Bit Set

Testimonial: "i only want to replace the main jet in my carb so i can run a 72cc big bore kit."

You need to work with the existing jet, just make it bigger to flow more fuel, that is how it is done.

Why not just buy a big motorcycle like a CBR1000 Honda.

What size jet would i need if ive got a 70cc big bore kit on a standard carb ??

I believe the standard starting place is to go 2 jet sizes bigger, but I would check with the manufacturer of the big bore kit to make sure. Hope this helps

Which size Jet Kit for 800 Vulcan Classic?

general rule of thumb is to go up about 10 jet sizes, unfortunately it is a bit of trial and error, and you may have to swap out diferrent sizes to get the bike running right,(jets are quite cheap though)but first step about 10 sizes from standard, your local dealer should be able to tell you what jets are in it and supply replacements,if you change to a hgh flow aftermarket air filter you may have to change jet sizes again as changing the filter may effect the mixture ratio in the carbs,,hope this helps
