Yamaha g19 gas golf cart, I loosened the nut at the base of the steering shaft and its changed the alignment? please inform me what i have done wrong and how i can fix it. Chris South Africa

On my tour trek (no other model info, just tour trek on the shaft), there is a steering adjustment. The engineer hid it well. The front bolts that secure the axle to the U shaped bracket are also the adjustment. If you spin that bolt and let the nut spin with it, the bracket will move in and out. You may need to loosen the nut first to give it some play. In the picture, it is the bolt on the bottom.
There is a threaded piece inside that has angled sides that does the work.
When you get it where you want it, put a wrench on the nut to secure it.

Verify series battery wiring. The main positive wire which goes to the solenoid should be on a positive battery post, that will be your main positive. Then from there we go series to all the rest of the batteries until we are left with a negative battery post, that will be your main negative. Make sure your charger wires are connected to the mains.

I have a 96 EZ GO gas golf cart with loose steering. What parts are normally needed to correct this problem and are special tools required for me to replace the parts.
