I need a manuel for LG Exalt II cell phone. This little page that comes with it only identifies parts not how to use them. Some of us older folks need more help.
Older folks such as myself need to know more than just the name of the parts but how to use them to do certain tasks such as set up favorites or how to switch phone numbers with in the listing when put in wrong place.

You need to download the drivers for your computer! - if your running windows xp, try googling, "LG VXX5500 windows xp drivers" and download them. Drivers are little information files that allow your computer to identify something, at the moment, your computer has seen your phone is plugged in but it doesnt know if its a digital camera, a printer or a mouse and a driver identifies it for you.
You can also goto the LG website and download them from there, also you can install the software from the CD you may have been given with your phone.
Try hitting menu 0 or ##77647268300 and send one of these should get you into a programming menu(depends on the software version) service code is '000000' and you are going to check option under Network and band preference, should be set to 'Any' not 'cell only'
