Find the starter relay in the under hood fuse block. Make sure the vehicle is in park then remove the starter relay and locate cavity #30 and #87 use a short wire to touch these terminals together for a second if the vehicle starts replace the relay.
Your vehicle does not have a starter relay. Instead it has an integrated circuit called the starter control output in the TIPM(totally integrated power module), which is part of the engine compartment fuse box. You need to check for 12v at starter on the yellow/violet wire at the starter solenoid while key in cranking mode. If 12v present, then replace the starter.
Starter relays are larger and usually located on the fender wells. The easiest way to find it is trace the wire from the starter to the relay. Or the positive battery cable also goes to the relay.
it might be a odd sensor going off. your going to have to take it to a Chrysler shop or someone that owns a a diagnostic tool that can hook it up and see what the problem is. They will most like shut off the light if its a minor problem that won't affect the vehicle.
