I have a kymco bug espresso 2005 model 150cc. about to do oil change and just read the bit in manual about gear oil. Does this scooter need that too?

On most versions of Roketa 150cc engines, the choke is automatic and electrically driven..  It is integrated with the carburetor.

People 50 has a 2 stroke engine injection oil system - the oil is not recirculated, it's burned. So no oil change and no oil drain plug. You just need to refill the oil tank from time to time.
