Probably "No." One telling feature is that most machines that will use a twin needle have two thread spool pins on the top. The 535 does not.
There is also the logistics. On a sewing machine with a front-threading needle, the twin needles operate side-by-side so the two threads will appear to be mirror stitches of each other. That would not happen with a side-loading needle (because the double needle would be installed facing to the side and the needles would be positioned one needle exactly behind the other). It would cause the rear thread to simply stitch over the top of the front thread, rather than creating a side-by-side affect.
In addition, the needle plate would have to accommodate a double needle (facing the side) in that space. The bobbin mechanism would also have to accommodate two needles--one behind the other. That is most likely a recipe for disaster--or at least, a broken twin needle and/or damage to the bobbin mechanism.
