SOURCE: anti freeze driping out of seep hole from the bottom of case

hello
there are two different seals on the water pump. the oil seal and the mechanical seal. the oil seal helps seal out the oil from the trans case. the mechanical seal helps seal the coolant from going into the trans case, and vise versa.
the weep hole is there to help diagnose if either seal is faulting. so if coolant is leaking from the weep hole. the mechanical seal is faulting or if the oil seal is leaking oil will drip from the weep hole.
hope this is of some help. thank you.

SOURCE: wont start by kick start but will by pull start

it could be the gaskets around your carb are bad and leaking air if so its thinning your gas fumes with more air then what is needed inside your combustion chamber witch is causing your engine to stop running like that. best of luck

The head and cylinder can not be removed as a single unit. You will need to put the piston on TDC compression, then check for the cam positioning mark or marks to see where they line up. This is the exact positioning the cam gear must be reinstalled at. Remove the cam gear from the cam and the chain but first hook a piece of wire to the chain so it can't fall down into the crank area. Now the head can come off then the cylinder. The simple diagram is your engine. the other one is generic and shows alignment. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Hello can anyone help got a mini moto which starts then cuts out i changed the carb reeds and reed valve and coil pack cleaned out jets and float bowl but still cuts out and wont run?

possible dirt in the fuel line. A bit of dirt could be floating in the tank and is being sucked to the fuel line and blocking it temporarily. When it stalls the piece can float again and open the line. Just a suggestion that you remove and clean out your gas tank.

P1353 Valve lift control cylinder X - small lift
Possible fault causes:
- Fuel injector faulty or borderline (opens too late/ not long enough/ not enough/ leaking)
- Valve lifter of the specified cylinder faulty (intake valve of the specified cylinder gets stuck during the small lift)
P1372 Valve lift control, bank 1
Possible fault causes:
- Insufficient oil supply for faulty bank 1 (e.g., due to faulty scavenging restrictor in the cylinder head, dirt in the oil circuit, ... )
- Greatly differing exhaust backpressure values between the banks (e.g., due to constricted or blocked opening of an exhaust branch)
- Loose contact or corrosion on connectors or lines
- Solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift control on bank 1 faulty
- Incorrectly adjusted timing of the intake or exhaust camshaft of a bank
- An oxygen sensor is aged or faulty
P2404 Leakage diagnosis pump, Reed switch
Possible fault causes:
- Vacuum system leaking
- The system consists of the mechanical vacuum pump (on the vehicle engine), the leakage diagnosis pump, the intake pipe switch-over valve and, where appropriate, the exhaust flaps in the rear muffler
- Vacuum pump has mechanical fault
- Tank vent valve stuck in closed position

Why wont my 2003 kx125 hit the power band, right as it would hit it it just back fires

Could be the power valve is dirty or blocked from operating. May be a carburetor problem too. Has the carb been cleaned lately?

I bought a 03 kx125 and when you take off 1st 2nd gear it runs like the plug is filed the guy that sold it to me said he trimmed the reeds to get a better bottom end take off but to me it seems like it...

Never try to "out engineer" the engineers. Just install a fresh unaltered set of reeds. You may want to ask the previous owner if the main jet was ever changed. If so, ask the dealer for a stock main jet.

Getting an error code of PO449 for a check engine light. this says it is the Evaporative Emissions Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit Malfunction. I keep looking for a replacement part of the vent...

You are right. You need the vent valve not the purge valve. The vent valve is a dealer item. Also this is a common problem and GM has released a bulletin on this that involves moving the location of the valve and running some new lines. It comes as a kit from GM, and it costs about a 100 bucks.

Is a power valve spacer and i reed block spacer the same thing?

reed valves are in the intake rubber manifold, so the fuel mix can only go one way into the motor, Power valves are on the exhaust side of the motor and vary the exhaust porting to suit engine revs. They are not the same

92 yz 250 hard to start and woulnt full accelarate

i may be wrong but it sounds like your bike has either,a dirty air filter(this would explain the bogging out in the midrange) or a bit of crud in the carb, check the tank filter(the one that is incorporated in the fuel tap),then get the carb off and give all the jets a good clean out,it only takes a small amount of dirt in the fuel system or carb to seriously affect performance, while you have the carb off, take off the inlet manifold that holds the carb, remove the reed valve block and check the condition of the reeds(if you can see daylight through the valve seat)ie between the reed valve and the base block, the reeds may need replacing, this may also explain your hard starting,as the reeds need to fully close against the block to get the right amount of air/fuel through to the crankcase,.these bikes generally go like a rocket so it will only be something minor which is stopping you enjoying it to its fullest..hope this helps
