I need to remove and replace a 2004 Honda Odyssey drivers seat. (power). My manual says I need a 'seat removal tool'. What is this and how do I get one?

You don't need any special tools to remove driver's seat. Only you have to do is to disconect battery at least 3 min. before disconecting cables from underseat wires. Seat is mounted to the floor with four bolts.

Removal of a Honda cb600f seat

There should be a bolt at the reat of the seat and two, one on either side. Tools to remove should be in your tool kit. Tool Kit should be under one of the side covers in a little tool box, whre you should also find your owners manual and instructions on how to remove the seat.

Can't find a battery for my bike

You dont give many details. Look under your seat for your battery. You may have to remove the seat. Typically, motorcycles come with a 'tool kit' that has the tools required to remove the seat to get to the battery.

How to remove rear seat back 1987 mustang convertable?

Tools Required:
  • 3/8 inch Drive Ratchet
  • 3/8 inch Drive 3” Extension
  • 3/8 inch Drive 10mm Socket
  • 3/8 inch Drive 13mm Socket
  • T-50 Torx Bit
  • 1/4 inch Allen Wrench
  • 3/16 inch Allen Wrench
  • 1/2 inch Wrench
  • Drill Motor
  • 1/8 inch Drill Bit
  • 5/16 inch Drill Bit
  • 2 inch Hole Saw
  • Trim Tool (Fork Tool)
  • Electrical Tape
  • Center Punch
  • Hammer
------------------- Installation:

Remove Back Seat:
  1. Locate the retainers securing the seat bottom into the vehicle, approximately 10 inches from the end of the cushion, either side. Use your thumb to push in retainer release tab. Lift the seat up to remove.
  2. Remove the two 13mm screws securing the seat back, located on each lower corner. Lift seat upward to release seat back from brackets at the top. You can carefully prop the seat back under the retracted top , use caution if choosing this method not to damage or scratch the vinyl of the seat. You can remove the seat from the vehicle completely by disengaging the flanges securing the top of the rear seat to the fabric of the convertible top well .
  3. Remove Quarter Trim Panels:
    1. Grip the Quarter Trim Panel Cap at the shoulder strap opening and lift up to dislodge the retaining clips.
    2. The inside Quarter Trim Panels are two-piece panels. Remove the upper portion of the Quarter Trim Panel from the vehicle; it is not necessary to remove the lower portion. Pull the forward edge of the trim Panel over the pinch weld in the doorjamb.
    3. Use a Door Trim Tool (Fork Tool) to dislodge the pushpin retainer at the rear edge of the Trim Panel approximately 4” down from the top, pry Trim Panel toward the outside of car to release retainer.

Where is the toolkit?

I'll answer these together. Your tool pouch is under the rear seat.

To remove the seats take off the back rest. Unlock the tool pouch storage and remove the tools and lift up the rubber spacer on the bottom. You'll find a phillips head screw. Remove the screw by unscrewing it and the rear seat comes off. You will see 2 more screws at the back of the front seat. Unscrew those. Remove the right side frame cover. Remove the bolt and washers from each side in the front of the seat.It should lift right off. Good luck.

How to remove the corroded valve seat housing in my tub faucet

Some seats ae rremovable and some or not Some take a hex(allen) wrench and some take a square (seat removal tool)  Most of us use a seat grinder. (another tool to dress up the seat (Remove material) past the seat damage. You will find any of these tools at any hardware store that sells plumbing parts. If the seats have a square or hex hole remove and replace rather that grind(dress)the seat. All right hand threads meaning turn counter clock wise to remove. Take old seat to the American Standard plmbing supply outlet and then will match it up. Good fix-in to ya.
