Kawasaki 300 bayou starter is engaging but not turning the engine over.

check the battery and wiring first. cos when the starter goes in/out it means the starting voltage has dropped so low for the starter solenoid to keep to keep the high load starter engaged so it goes in/out{ back to basics ohms law} hope this helps

1998 Bayou 300 4 wheeler will not engage reverse gear, no previous problem need possible cause

Could be an electrical problem. If it doesn't sense the neutral position signal it will not go into reverse. If your neutral light comes on then it may be a loose connection after the light. This is on of a few things to check out first

STARTER WONT ENGAGE ONLY CLICKS UNDER HOOD STATER

If the clicking sound is coming from the engine bay, from the relay, you may want to have the starter itself checked out. You need to check if the ground cable from the engine to the chassis is secured. If that is OK, you may want to have the starter motor checked.
