I have a 2000 oldsmobile alero and I can't get sound out of my rear speakers good speakers and connection just no sound

sounds like a fuel filter would b a good place to start

I just tryed it and I have no idea how to take that plasic thing out! ... I replaced the deckspeakers on my alero as well as my friends and didn't .... remove the rear deck...next thing is that if you have monsoon sound let ... Get better aftermarket speakers and then say ehh...i wanna go back to the weak stockers. Stero Question

how do i replace the rear speakers on a 2003 olds alero

Check the fuse first. Then check the resistance of the Defroster grid w/ohm meter. As long as you measure anything BUT infinate, its ok. If ok replace the timer/switch module in the dash panel.

you should not need to adust to parking brake you may need to inspect the rear shoes they are probally wore out replace them and you should have a good firm e-brake.

There is black box behind back passenger pillar from plastic. This box is responsible for car antenna and rear defogger. There is problematic connection, who cause sparks and plastic and joints on electrical board is melting. open this box and repair melted connections. weld also this two wire to the electrical board.

You have to flip up the speaker cover, and loosen some screws from above. Then lift the speaker easly and reconnect the harness. Be carefully, it´s easy to breake the cover or scratch them...

yellow wire - continous power
red wire - power ( when switch is on)
black wire - ground
blue wire - remote ( has power when switch is on) ( must be connected)
blue/light blue - rear right speakers
yellow/brown - rear left speakers
white/white striped - front left speakers
grey/pink - front right speakers
orange wire- dimmer lights ( not important)

these are the wires coming from car follow this diagram and you should be fine

Sounds like a headgasket problem.
If this is the 3.4 liter v6, they are good for the rear headgasket being blown. This lets combustion gases into the cooling system, and causes the coolant to overflow the tank.
