Hi Thomas:
My sympathies re your bike getting stolen.
There will undoubtedly be a way to bypass the ignition but you must appreciate that anyone posting that information would really be contributing to the potential theft of a lot more bikes.
Also, since the amount of damage is unknown, doing any hot wiring could lead to more problems.
If you had insurance, the cost of moving the bike should be covered.
If you didn't, I'd recommend getting some buddies with a pickup truck, some straps, and the promise of beer and pizza when the bike gets into your shop.
Best of luck.

well it depends on what kinda of bike your talking about.like on my cbr600rr it has a tip over switch which wont send spark to the engine and you have to replace it.some bikes you can just reset the ecu.i would get a service manual and find out how to reset the ecu and also see if it has a tip over switch.

use a test meter to find which one has continuity with ground. Cut that wire, and connect the other two.
Testimonial: "hi thanks for you input very helpfull thanks mr grim "
SOURCE: i have a 150cc ,problem
Sounds to me like a fuse. Check for voltage on the ignition switch and follow the wires back until you find the break/fuse.
Hope that helps.
SOURCE: i need to totally rewire
Hi, I hate to say this. Go buy a new switch. It will be harder to rewire than to replace the switch.
Good luck. They're not too expensive.
