Hi Donald:
First basic questions
- Tire pressure correct?
- Tire condition?
- When does this happen? Cornering? - shock setup?
- Load?
- Speed?
Any info you can give will help to find the problem.
If you reply as a comment to this post I'll receive it.
Cheers.

Testimonial: "Tire pressure 41 lbs tires have approx 3000 miles like new. Rear suspension set at26lbs. 35to 40 mph just going down the road almost like you drove over something slippery is how it feels. I checked tire no bubbles or signs that a cord would be broken . The wheel is tight and correctly mounted running true no odd where on the tire tread it almost feels like the swing arm flexes ."

That would be where I'd be looking next.
    2003, How many miles?
Have you owned it since new?
    Maintenance history?
It's possible that swing arm bushings need maintenance.
If you have a bike hoist available it's way easier to observe.
It can get tricky to secure the bike so it can't fall and still be able to jack it so the rear wheel is off the ground. Then you get to play detective/mechanic and try to find any places that have play where it should not be.
My bikes are off the road now as it's winter and too cold to be cool.

Rear suspension sway axle side

could be rear wheel bearings - they come as a complete assy with brake hub - approx $45 each side - 1 hour per side for replacement. Also replace the rear sway bar links $8 for a set - other than that you could have a bent wheel and or loose rear control arm bolts - remove the rear wheels and check all mounting bolts - I had this problem and my rear end felt like it was shimming when I went around corners - 5 minute fix

Vibration at 70 MPH.

Warped or out-of balance brake rotor? Also keep in mind that loose rear differential trailing arms that allow the rear differential to squirm around can also cause steering wheel shake.

Rear Suspension noise on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8

Check sway bar. On some models as suspension sags, sway bar outer ends will contact the body, leaving a mark or dent just above the end, causing a bang over bumps. Only way to correct this is to change springs or add a spring lift.
