CF moto v5 250cc is making clicking noise when try to start. Bike was serviced yesterday and this morning it is not starting.

This morning when i try to start it, it started briefly and died. then every time i try to start, it is just making a clicking noise. Not sure if it is the battery or the starter motor. Yesterday the mechanic said no mechanical issues and battery is good. SO not sure what went wrong in one day.

If there is a series of rapid clicks check your starter solenoid, although a single click can be a low battery.

Its the Battery. The service center sent their Mechanic to check and he confirmed that the battery is flat and towed it to their service center. I may receive their call today and hoping they say the battery charged properly. fingers crossed.

I have a 2013 Cf moto 800-2 terralander. Replaced battery and spark plug annd still wont start?

You say it wont start but you don't say if its spinning over?
If it is you need to look deeper...
Is the bike delivering fuel? Is there a spark?

Clicking starter=car not starting

Regardless of the battery age, sounds to me as if you have a drain on the electrical system First thing to do is completely recharge battery. An initial quick inspection might show a light staying on, whether it be a door , reading, glove box, or trunk lights, among many other things. If nothing is obvious an electical reading of the system while removing and reinstalling fuses will show the circuit causing the drain, Hope this helps

in fact only turned over once befors starter was clicking away. Pushed it home tried again - nothing. Put battery on charger - charged up in 15 minutes - tried to start - engine turned over couple of times then click click click at starter been out this morning checked all connections and earths - charged battery up - read 13.22v when full charge light came on, tried to start up - turned over several times, getting slowwr then click click. Checked battery reading 12.17v Any suggestions - is it the battery or what else?,The fact that the voltage drops as the revs increase is very odd. However, the dash voltmeter which I assume you are using is often inaccurate. Try an alternative battery, at least to see if it starts. You could use a car battery with jump leads. With a decent battery the charging might improve too.,,,

Starting problems

I'm having starting problems with my MOTO 6.5 ther is a 'buzzing' noise when the start button is pressed(the bike will not start or even try to fire) is it the solenoid? The buzzing noise is coming from the small item near the battery is this the solenoid? The battery is almost new so i know this isn't the problem. can anyone help? Sounds like a problem with the starter motor. Are you sure that the motor/piston is actually moved by the starter motor? If notthe buzzing noise is from the starter motor itself that runs 'free' without engaging the magnet that connects with the motor. The magnets can get 'sticky' and sometimes helped with a Careful hammering onto the starter motor. In any event you will need to rebuild or replace the starter motor unit. This all assumes that the moto still starts whenyou push her in second gear, right? Hope this helps and good luck. ,,,

In my Sonata I went out to start it and it just made clicking noises. What does that mean?

This sounds like your starter or starter relay went. Check fuses to make sure they are all good.
