Stuck? You mean it won't come out? IF it will not pull up and out with ease, the seal is swollen/hard and is preventing the sensor removal. You may have to use a small prybar/flat screwdriver and hammer and tap the bar under the flat of the sensor. It will force the sensor to rise and you can then pull it up and out

There are no timing marks. Timing is done using special tools to hold the crank at top center and a tool to hold each camshaft in position. the cam sprockets are not pinned to the cams. there are also dummy tensioners installed to take up the slack till the tightening is done. Also there are chains at the back of the motor that can only be timed with the motor out of vehical.

the module is located behind the dash just to the left of the radio. remove the two screws below the radio and the dash panel snaps out and you can access the module
CAUTION: Prior to removal of the camshaft position sensor (CMP sensor) (12126), set cylinder No.1 to zero degrees top dead center (TDC) of compression stroke. Note the position of the camshaft position sensor electrical connector. The installation procedure requires that the connector be located in the same position. CAUTION: A special service tool such as Syncro Positioning Tool T95T-12200-A must be used to position the synchronizer assembly prior to installation of the camshaft position sensor. Failure to follow this procedure will result in improper camshaft position sensor alignment. This will result in the fuel system being out of time with the engine, possibly causing engine damage. CAUTION: If camshaft position sensor electrical connector is not positioned properly, DO NOT reposition the connector by rotating the camshaft position sensor housing. This will result in the fuel system being out of time with the engine, possibly causing engine damage. Remove the camshaft position sensor housing and repeat installation procedure, beginning with Step 1. 1,206 views
