I answered this yesterday. It is shown on the top of the diagram. 4th image ion the Amazon advert, small brass screw. Make sure you have got the cable adjuster too tight as that will cause a high idle.
Hey Barry, has the quad been flipped onto the left side,? Sounds like you may have a bent shift shaft...one other possibility is the shifter needs adjusting (some newer engines do not have adjustments). I am guessing it is easy to down shift? If the shift shaft is bent.. be careful , you can easily crack the engine case!!
Hey Bayside,,
Sounds like the carburetor needs the attention of a qualified professional..install a new (correct) spark plug,,
Have the pro clean, check, and set the carburetor, you should be ok,,
sounds like the float is not working properly , could also be the jet. would be a good idea to buy a carb kit, not very expensive and save a lot of grief.
HMMM ! not real familiar with this model, but first of all you'll need to get yourself a key cut by taking the serial number from the ignition barrell and your model /year number to a locksmith. Then charge the battery to full.then you'll need to find out if the charging system is working.Quickest way to do this is take a static and a live reading of battery volts accross the battery with a multi-meter the live reading should be a tad more than the static reading. Also it`s possible that you may have disloged some dirt/grit from the intake when you spayed carb cleaner and it has blocked one of the low speed air jets or pilot jet.......Good luck ..KEN from NAIDIA....HHHHHEEEEEE!!!!!! ......Flabbycat
