Kawasaki 50 starting problems

When I finally get the quad to start (2007 kawasaki 50) I can ride it for as long as I want but as soon as I stop and try and let it idol it will die and I have to wait about 10 to 15 minutes before it will start again. I was only riding it for about 5 minutes each time and I repeated this process four times yesterday. At first I kept trying to start it when it would die but the only thing that worked was letting it sit for about 15 minutes. I'm not sure what to do to fix this problem.

Sounds like the carb needs cleaning and the floats adjusted.

Engine valves need adjusting.
symptoms: starts ok, runs until engine reaches max temp loses power then stops. can't restart when hot. once restarted runs for a while stops again.

There is very little clerance in these valves and temperature alters the lenth by a few thou and the valve don't close fully losing compression, once cold the valves shrink back enough to create enough compression to start again.

I would suspect that the float is sticking. Checking will require removal of (in order): seat, tank, air filter box/backing plate, and finally, the float bowl at the bottom of the carb. Insure that the float is not flooded, and that the float needle is free of trash.

Fuel pump (if you have one) weak or has trash that can move . intermitten short, make sure all fuses are tight not just look good. Probably a re-occuring problem with trash or water in fuel.(fill fuel from clean fuel can ) If it was trash and cleaning carbs made a difference, clean tank filter and lines too.

05 750 brute force missing badly
Just had same problem. Take carbs off and clean all jets and bowl. Be carful front and rear carb have different sized jets. When you put quad back together put entire airbox together even the cover. This quad will backfire unless air box is complete. I bet you anything your carb is full of trash.
