Sound coming from near radiator and fuel tank.
SOURCE: Engine won't stay running
Sound like fuel supply fail.Check the fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pump relay first.

This sounds like a circuit breaker tripping. If you have a short somewhere, the circuit breaker will break with an audible click. When it cools off in a few seconds, it will reset. If the short circuit is still present, it will immediately trip again making the same clicking noise. You need to find out which breaker it is and trace the short. I don't think the starter relay is under the tank but if this is it, the relay is making a tick but the engine is not starting, you need a new relay.
Good Luck
Steve

The hissing........do this once. turn the bike to the "on" position. Dont start the bike, just turn ity so you can hear the fuel pump engage. After the pump stops, listen really close to the inside of the tank......do you hear anything, like some gas still sprinkling out inside the tank? hopefully, you are at about a half tank or less. You wont hear it with a full tank. need to know where this hissing is from, under or in the tank. you arent going crazy.........yet. :o) I'll keep an eye out for your response.

Could be your fuel pump or your fan is still running.
If it's the fuel pump. You should hear the same sound when you turn the contact on in the morning.
If you can only hear it when the bike is warm and you shut the engine down, it's likely it's the fan spinning. Some Kawa's do it, some don't. My old GPX600R did it. Sometimes it ran (after I shut the bike down) for upto 15 minutes (in hot weather),but my ZZR1400 doesn't do it at all.
My old GPX used to buzz/whistle form the gas cap too, but that shouldn't have anything to do with turning the power on/off.
