Really could use some help... Please, it seems to be lacking power it's getting to much fuel and not enough air its an air cooled not sure how to do it please help me I don't want to do it wrong. I've looked at the air filter changed the oil, drained the fuel tank as well running out of ideas and also does it have an overflow pipe because I have this pipe but near the two head cylinders not sure where it's meant to go... Must go somewhere but where. New spark plugs new battery and cleaned the carbs. It starts then cuts, doesn't tick over. Everything looks new it's only done 453 miles. Any suggestions please would be greatly appreciated! I am a novice though. @

have you checked for vaccuum leaks at the intake manifold? you can check by pouring water over the gasket area when/ if you get it running!

You need to remove the carbs and dismantle them completly and adjust them to spec. Also change the fuel filter.

If im not too late..My hyosung 250 wouldn"t idle either..ended up being a kinked vaccum line coming from one of the heads under the seat.

Hi Lee Pepper, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? what model is it?
Low mileage bike that won't run after you cleaned the carbs? See if you have a vacuum hose connected to back of your petcock that runs to the intake manifold? It has to be connected for the fuel to flow to the carbs. Did you disassemble the carbs and soak the bodies in cleaner overnight then blow out the passages? Made sure the idle jets were open and the main jets? Doesn't tick over???? Starter solenoid is round relay next to battery, it engages the stater when small wire to starter switch is grounded, other wire is hot from switch. Did you reassemble the pistons into top of carbs with diaphragms in correct position? Notch on pistons with holes go toward the intake of the carbs. There is usually a tap on the rubber diaphragms that fit into a notch in the body. Your best investment is a manual!
