Hi check the ignition switch and kill switch first also the side stand switch. After this check if there is power at the coils. These are all the simple cheap steps. Best of luck.

Bosch gas range no lower ignitor for bake no upper ignitor for broil display is fine no type of error code no other issue any recommendations?

It sounds like there is an issue with the ignition system of your Bosch gas range. The fact that the display is fine, and no error codes are being displayed, suggests that the problem is with the ignition system itself.
  • The first thing to check is the ignition switch, it could be faulty and not sending power to the ignition system.
  • Check the wiring, it could be loose or corroded preventing power to reach the ignition system.
  • The next thing to check would be the spark module, which controls the spark that lights the gas. If the spark module is malfunctioning, it will not send a spark to the ignition system.
  • Lastly, the oven and broiler igniters may be faulty and need to be replaced.
It's important to note that working with gas appliances can be dangerous, if you're not comfortable troubleshooting, it's best to contact a professional for repairs or contact Bosch customer service for further assistance. Request for a senior technician or supervisor to take a look at it and provide a resolution.

What is a control module?

cars have many , control modules, most are microcomputer based.
the PCM on the Forenza runs the engine, EFI
spark and fuel and transmission shifting.
can be lots of things,
lost spark
check all fuse first, that means test them if they look good.
second, is use a scan tool to see why it dont start..(spark dead? and why)
there is no distributor on a 06. !
but there are 4 engines, used, not posting which engine, makes help near impossible.
most cars, 06, suzuki, usa , have a single coil pack
it has 4 coils inside ,one for each cylinder.
so are all 4 coils dead? is that it?
spark leaves the coil pack it never has sparking going it to it.
the coil if fired from the PCM
the PCM fires the coil with and ignitor.
the PCM fires the igniter if the CMP and CKP sensors work.

see coil pack below?
if all 4 are dead, we scan it after fuse checks. always....

I have no spark in my 1987 honda accord i have replaced the coil and a new distributor also the main relay fuse is good as well as all the other fuses look good it turns over just fine seems to want to...

I would check the crank sensor located on the bell housing. This senses that the engine is turning and allows a spark to be produced. No sensor no spark.

Replace egr valve still wont start

PROBLEM COULD BE FAULTY FUEL PUMP OR IGNITION MODULE.CHECK FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 41 - 47 PSI. IF NO FUEL PRESSURE TO LOW REPLACE FUEL FILTER.STILL LOW FUEL PUMP FAULTY.IF FUEL PUMP DONT RUN CHECK FUSE AND RELAY.IF FUSE RELAY GOOD PUMP BAD.IF FUEL SYSTEM OKAY USE A SPARK TESTER TO CHECK FOR SPARK AT SPARK PLUGS IF NOT CHECK IGNITION MODULE FUSE IF OKAY IGNITION MODULE COULD BE BAD.USE A CODE SCANNER TO CHECK FOR FAULT CODE IN PCM AND IGNITION MODULE.THIS SAVE YOU FROM SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY.

I have an amana AKS30E gas cooktop and the ignitors are sparking approximately every 30-seconds on their own. I have checked all the knobs etc and each burner lights fine but with the gas off and ignitors...

I think it's more likely to be a wiring problem, either bad ground or loose connection on the controls of the spark module connector. Look carefully at the switches on the controls to see if they are asking for spark when they're supposed to be off.

Best Regards,

02 caviler.. cranks but will not start.. have replaced crank sensor, fuel relay sensor.ignition module as well as spark plug module... and replaced battery

Squirt starting fluid in intake and try to start if it starts and then dies you have a fuel delivery problem. Make sure you check the fuses for a blown fuse namely fuel pump or fuelpump relay. If it doesnt start after squirting starting fluid in the intake check for spark at the plug wires and coil.

Spark ignitors on gas stovetop wont stop sparking

Make sure yo haven't spilled liquid on the ignitor becuase this will cuase all ignitors to spark constantly. If all is dry, the spark module must be replaced.

All 4 ignitors just stopped working on the stove top...no more 'clicking' sounds

1 Check to be sure unit is properly connected to power supply.
2 Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker.
3 Check to be sure ignitor is dry and clicking. Burner will not light if ignitor is damaged, soiled or wet. If ignitor doesn’t click, turn control knob OFF.
4 Burner ports may be clogged.
