Hi,before you do anything first check take the bulb out and check if its good or falty,as if its falty it could be a problem,if not it could be a relay.all the best.
There are 3 relays.
1 : Headlight relay (dimmer) has 5 wires.
2 : Turn signal has 2 wires.
3 : Headlight relay (on-off) has 4 wires.
I would be checking these relays. There is also a headlight fuse on a red/yellow wire.

Some time back I found some data on a similar website suggesting that the Day Light Running circuit board, just under the steering column, developed cracks in some of the soldered joints. Your high beams should also be affected with loss of day light running lights.
Resoldering repaired the continuity of the circuits. Ours is now working quite reliably. Some of the defective areas developed slight brownish discoloration, that's how I was told to recognise the areas to be resoldered. Hope this will help you solve your problem.

First place to start is with headlight switch. I did have a case many years ago when both high beams were blown out at once, but this is rare. When you have the headlight switch out, jump power from te low beams to the high beam contacts. If high beams come on, replace switch.

My lights have had this problem for months. From time to time I try to fix it, but I have learned the following:

headlights, when I pull the headlight switch back (toward me) and then
let go, the running lights turn off. [/EASY]
Extra information that I haven't figured out how to use yet:
2. Apparently the DRL bulbs operate through the high-beam bulbs; this
is why you get the high-beam light when the DRLs are broken (or
whatever) and why you can turn them off with the high-beam switch.
3. My wife took the car out for a fluid change once and said the
mechanic pointed at a light on the car and said, "that bulb's out," and
that if she fixed it the DRL's would work normally, but she forgot
which light it was. He even told her what bulb it needed. I took it
to the same place and no one knew what I was talking about.
I don't think about trying to fix this very often since I realized I
could turn the lights off with the high-beam switch. I used to worry
that that blinker was somehow draining the battery, but it never has
(whereas I once drained a brand new battery just by leaving the
interior light on all night). I hope I've helped!

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)
