SOURCE: how to change sparkplugs on honda shadow motorcycle

VT1100 has two spark plugs per cylinder, the sparkplug caps are snap-ons so they're fairly easy to remove. You need a spark plug socket wrench to remove and replace the spark plugs.

SOURCE: I would like to know how to lower my honda shadow

When lowering bikes, we usually lessen or cut the shock absorbers (front and back).

Accessory places have lowering blocks, they are just a small metal accessory that move the bottom of the rear shocks to the rear and down, I think you get 1.5 inches from them. Then you need to cut or get shorter springs in the front, either will probably make the ride stiffer in the front.

2005 honda shadow arow overflows all the gas wile running its a 750

it can be very hard to correctly trace a gas leak.. Start with the petcock at the tank - make sure its not leaking, carefully move your way down towards the carbs..

If it is indeed the carbs - you will have to pull them and clean (possibly rebuild).. Either the floats are flooding / sinking and not blocking the incoming fuel, or dirt has stopped the needle from sealing properly, or you might have an external leak on the hoses / orings etc..

It might be your tank overflow - is the tank completely full when this happens?

2004 750 Honda Shadow Aero with a recently replaced battery had lost charge one morning so I recharged but saw a noticeable rate of voltage drop after charging finished. Bike started fine, but the drop was...

Check the brake light switches, especially the rear,
and basically the whole wiring harness, including any accessories.
Those problems can be tough to solve.

I need to replace the o ring (petcock) on my 2004 honda shadow aero and need to know if i need to remove tank or maybe get special tool to remove petcock

Drain the tank. You should be able to remove the petcock by simply turning the nut holding it on or turning the whole petcock assembly. It may be stuck in place by the o-ring/fuel filter inserted into the tank. Be sure the filter is in place when you put the petcock back on or you will have problems with leaking gas out the carburetor overflows (from tank rust getting into the carburetors). Chances are the leaking gas is not form the tank sealing o-ring, but from the vacuum diaphragm assembly attached to the back of the petcock. Part # 5 on the microfiche.

I have a 1999 shadow aero and the temperature gauge comes on after about 30 minutes of riding, the light will go off and on if i continue riding. Could it be the thermostat if the light goes off and on ?

Had a simlair problem with Honda ST1300, the fault was a leaking hose between the radiator and overflow header tank. Light would come on when the bike was in slow moving traffic and go off again once the bike was at speed. Worth a look?

My hose lost radiator fluid on my 04 Honda shadow aero 750 so I may as well change the radiator fluid. How do I do this?

Replace the broken hose and put it in the same way as in the old ones.
Refill your coolant reservoir until full with proper coolant then turn on your bike, let it idle until coolant overflows from reservoir. When that happens turn off the bikle, fop up the coolant reservoir and put the cap on. You're now good to use it. Tomorrow, when engine still cold, check your reservoir and top up again if required.
Good enough?
