Check the magneto for rust or dirt ! The seals get bad and let water and dirt in to the cover anything on the magnets can cause bad or no spark !

overflowing while you have it parked? I have a 1981 Kawa CSR 250 and it leaks gas when it is on the kickstand because it leans too far over... I always shut-off the gas when parking and put it up on the stand when I won't be riding it for awhile

go back and chec for proper grounds or wiring flaws--a clymer manual has diagrams and rebuild details--is battery at 12.6v--a coil ignition cant have less then this--are terminals tight enough
