My bike's drive chain is jumping in all gears at main stand, also knocking sound coming somewhere from engine or anything else, as soon as I press the clutch the knocking sound goes away and chain moves without any jump. On riding the bike it is giving extreme knocking in all the gears except 1st gear while accelerating from low speed. On warm engine idling engine produces somewhat growling noise but when i press the clutch noise goes away. No knocking at idling and acceleration on neutral. Changed clutch friction plates and pressure plates everything was fine in the clutch assembly, drive chain tight enough with new front chain sprocket. Please note engine produces knocking at load only in gears.
Hi,it sounds from what you are saying that you have got a inturnal falt with the gearbox,im affried the only way to make a propper diagnoses is to take it apart and look at the gear sincros there has to be worn bearings,or teeth on the gears,or the sellector,or something has just manidged to come loose.
I wish you all thhe best.
It sounds like the drive dogs on the gears are not engaging properly, this usually affects 2 nd gear mostly but can affect all of them.but it's not likely .do any of them seem ok or does it jump in every gear ?
Sir My problem is drive chain jumping in all gears with extreme knocking not jumping gears.
Most noticeable part is when i press the clutch no knocking sound and jumping chain and when i move the rear wheel in neutral the drive chain does'nt jump.
iam posting the video hope it will help you to assist me.
Most intresting thing is New Front sprocket with perfect tightened chain and lubed it.
it sounds like a bearing on the output shaft has broken up.if you pull the seal out of the engine behind the front sprocket can you see any bearing damage.it may also be on th other end of the shaft behind the clutch.

if you can actually see the chain jumping over the sprockets when you pull away then you need a new chain and sprocket kit ,if the chain just looks like it is jumping but it doesnt jump teeth then the problem is the gearbox as a clutch will not make a noise like that if it slips, there is a possibility your output shaft has broken but this is not common.
ive been thinking and it could be the gear on the back of the clutch basket that has cracked and opened up this would have these symptoms.but dont keep running it like it as it will damage the gear is syncs with on the crankshaft.i would take the clutch right out and inspect it .
one thing i forgot to mention is the gearbox shifts, it's way too hard and i need to move the bike to shift the gear when the engine is off.
shifting gears while not running will require rocking the bike back n forth thats normal but if its reaaly stiff something is bent
ps a growling suggests a bearing so you need to check both ends of the output shaft
