Tuning the 1150GS without a vacuum gauge is virtually impossible. There are 2 separate adjustments, one at idle and one at around 3000rpm that both need to be done correctly for the motor to run smoothly.

Do you have an aftermarket pipe on the bike?

Also, check the exhaust joint where the tail pipe joins the header. If that is leaking, it will account for a certain amount of popping on deceleration

Will a exaust leak cause cause a sputter and poping out exaust and small flame at leak Engine runs smooth at idle no missfire or pop only flame and popping at acceleration help please car is a pontiac 3400

You may get some popping with a leaking exhaust but not common. Sounds like you're in need of a tune up. Spark plugs and new wires to start. The flames are due to unburnt fuel from mostly a miss fire. Try a simple tune up first, also make sure you have a new air filter to help the motor breathe easier and save money at the pumps. Be sure to check and replace any old/cracked vacuum lines as this will cause poor performance too. Hope this helps start you in the right direction.

Tivo Premier xl4 won't work right with Charter Cable tuning adapter

You need to have a cable card from Charter inserted into the TiVo, and it'll have to be "paired" with the equipment at the cable company's head end, and on top of that, if they do what's called Switched Digital Video, where some channels have to be specifically asked for every so often to get put on the cable at "some carrier frequency", you need what's called a tuning adapter which is a separate box that connects to the TiVo via a USB cable, and which also connects to the cable company cable (best way is with cable splitter so that one leg "dead ends" at tuning adapter).

First you need to take the tuning adapter out of the system entirely and make sure the cable card is working. Then you can add it back into the mix.

And you may need to harass Charter's customer service department a lot to get this stuff to actually work.

A good place to ask further questions about this is the TiVo Community Forum (which is not an official TiVo, Inc. site), which is where lots and lots of knowledgeable TiVo users hang out and help each other.

How to make bunny ears work on my 1996 panasonic tv

Rabbit ears will only get channels that are very close or strong--a lot of channels are no longer broadcast in analog over the air---ask your neighbors what they use and consider going to cable or sat.

Do i need the hdmi cable inorder for the ps3 to work? when i brought the system i tried it out and it worked just fine, then when i took it home it didnt work... is i because of the cable?

HDMI cable is a "Component" cable which is as near to HDMI as possible. The cable has 5 plugs on it (make sure your TV has the same 5 plugs). They are available off of eBay

there are series of problem in ps3 which can be solved without much technical knowledge ........ your problem belong to that so dont worry i will give you the link to download the ps3 repair guide that will help you a lot.......

Bike missing and backfiring... put new plugs in 2001 ace 750

I'm trying to think away the possibility of a burt vave. Have you run the valve adjustment? Carb adjustment is very critical, Too lean will cause backfiring or stumbling and too rich will cause deccel popping at the exhaust. One other thing, Vacuum leaks screw everything up so it wouldn't hurt to ck all the vacuum lines make sure of no cracks or loose fits. Safly, you may need to just run it out and hope for it to clear up.Make sure the plug wires are not laying on anything. Take some electrical spray cleaner and rinse og the top of the coilnd the plug wire. I'll keep thinking on this and if I stumble on anything I'll you know. Ned

Popping and clicking in 2003 dodge durango steering column, it feels as if the column is loose at some point, it's not in the front end, it seems to be from the firewall up to the steering wheel

i believe there is a replacement steering shaft from dodge to get rid of this noise, the dakotas have the same problem,it comes from the shaft design and the flex of the body mounts when u accel or deccel, hope this helps

What are the tune-up guidelines for 2000 Jetta that has 153K miles? Also, in the past week the oil gauge stopped working (but oil level is good) and the trunk latch won't open (it makes the sound like the...

A mechanic told me there really isn't a "tune up" per say for a Jetta TDI. Most importantly, the timing belt (w/water pump) replacement is the biggest concern. Change all the belts, check the glow plugs. If you drive on the highway a lot, the mass air flow sensor and its related hoses should be ok (carbon build up).
