If you have just instaled a new clutch you need to make sure the clutch disk has not ben instaled back wards and all the bolts holding the pressure plate are torqued evenly if eather is not corect the slave cyl will extend but not relace the clutch, if you have some one step on the clutch and it moves 1 to 2 in the problem is in the pressure plate or clutch disk,

Should be able to bleed the clutch through the slave cylinder. under the car is the piston looking thing pressing on the little fork that is poking out of the tranny. should have a valve on it. i dont know about the older models but the 90 up also has a bleed valve on the passenger side fender

How to repair hydraulic clutch line leak for 1992 Nissan pickup d21

well we can't see it leak or how.
connections lose ?
or
rusty or damaged lines.
it's just a pipe, and 2 end
fails at end or fails at the pipe.
a new line can fix it. (not damaged fittings)
if an all metal line is bad, remove it and take to any brake shop and they can make a new line. (fittings are metric)
or rubber line leaking? car is rare now, as are parts.
the hose is here

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/nissan,1992,d21+pickup,2.4l+l4,1211049,transmission-manual,clutch+hydraulic+hose/line,2332

most times the MC leaks or the slave leaks first.
and gravity and windage effects fool some.,
use UV dye to find true leak, point, once cleaned and testing it parked.

85 nissan pickup sat for 3 years and now clutch pedal has no pressure Tried to bleed many times but still no pedal? Please help thanks

Check for any visible leaks at the slave cylinder and the master cylinder. You may have seals that are bypassing in the master cylinder from sitting so long as they will get hard and fail. If no leaks found, suspect a defective clutch master cylinder

Shifting gear problem

Hi Lillean, first go check your clutch master cylinder,it's located at firewall on driver side in corner,if low or empty, then your clutch slave cylinder is bad and leaking,it's located on side of transmission with hose connected to it,2 bolts hold it on,fluid may be visible if leaking. You can fill reservoir and bleed to get home,I have a 85 Nissan truck, happen to me before. To bleed, have some one pump pedal a few times, get line wrench and open valve at slave cylinder,do untill air is gone and pedal is firm, make sure you keep reservoir full while doing this or air will get in there. Here's a link on it.Join the az site like me then you have a free repair guide.

Vacum leak on vacum booster for brakes

check vacuum hose first and make sure it's seated properly and not leaking.
This vacuum hose, if leaking, will cause engine to run rough or die.

If you are leaking fluid, the problem is most likely the master cylinder leaking.

If the booster itself is bad, it is a very hard job to swap it out as the mounting bolts are far behind your gauges on the firewall.

I hope you have a good booster.

My 1997 nissan trucks hose was leaking so i replaced it then the water pump was leaking so i replased it now the moter over heats what do you think i should try next?

I would recommend that you flush the radiator, and change the thermostat. You may want to change out your clutch fan. If it spins freely when the engine is off with little to no resistance, then it is faulty. It should spin, but there will be noticeable resistance when doing so,

Cluch falls to the floor board

Most likely a hydraulic operated clutch. The master or slave has failed, you need to figure out which and replace it, then bleed the system. Generally there will be a stain of leaked hydraulic (same as brake) fluid as a clue to which failed. Having a short rope attached to the clutch pedal will assist in pulling it back up during the bleeding process.

Clutch go's all the way to floor with no resistents can not shift gears engine won't stay on. 1987 5 speed pickup truck

Sounds like the hydraulic fluid may have leaked out of a line or the slave cylinder is leaking, or the master clutch cylinder has an internal leak that doesn't actuate the clutch effectively when the pedal is pushed to the floor.

Leaking fluid from the hydraulic clutch before it goes into the transmission.

Is it leaking from the clutch pipe union or the bleed screw if either just tighten them. If the seal on your clutch slave cylinder needs to be replaced either replace the whole slave cylinder or get a repair kit to refurbish the internals.
