Hi I have Kymco Downtown 200 i I have a spark problem (I have no spark), I replaced a new ECU and a new ignition coil and still do not have a spark. I checked all the fuses are correct, I checked the crank sensor and its resistance standards. I'd love to get Help What is the role of the tilt switch? Thank you very much

Have you checked all the ground wires to make sure that the coil and ecu are grounding good. the tilt switch is to cut off the motor if the bike falls over .

Check the kill switch on the handle bars I have had them short out and also check the wire from the kill switch to the plug in on the bike. if that is good it maybe the Ing switch has a short. Hope this helps

Take your spark plug out of the cylinder, reconnect it to the ht lead and place it on to your frame if you see a spark then your coil is fine, try a new spark plug, if there is no spark get a new coil and plug.

Remember there is a 2t and a 4t version of the kymco vitality and the spark plugs are different.
