Changing the headlamps on this year BMW may require removal of the front bumper. I would recommend that you take it a BMW dealer for repair.

2006 750Li Transmission Fault - When I put the car in Drive, it changes it to Park - after several power downs it begins to work again - The transmission seems to jump occasionally.

The electronic control modules that control BMW transmissions have historically been very sensitive to the quality of the electrical supply. The first step in diagnosing erratic transmission behavior is always to first make sure that the battery is in good shape, the connections and ground are clean, and the alternator is putting out a strong clean DC charge.
Once that possible problem is eliminated, if the problem persists, you will need some high quality transmission expertise.
