On that specific model i'm not sure, but usually FI bikes have that connector where you pinch two points and pull, usually they are colored in a way where you can see where to press.

If the bike is fuel injection you need to release the psi from the fuel system and there is a special tool to release the inner fuel line clip to release the line from the tank ask your dealer for info on the tool.

Track down the fuel line to the fuel pump and check the wiring there. You should have good power to the pump, and you should have a good electrical ground. If you have both but the pump isn't pumping, and the tank has plenty of good fresh gas and the gas petcock is turned on, then the fuel pump needs replacing.

Fuel pump

moz-screenshot.jpgThe fuel pump is in the fuel tank.
1) Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery
Remove the fuel filler cap.
2) Relieve the fuel pressure by using a box end wrench on the 6mm service bolt at the fuel rail (on motor) while holding the special banjo bolt with another wrench.
Place a rag over the 6mm service bolt and slowly loosen the bolt one complete turn to release the fuel line pressure.
3) Remove the fuel tank.
Remove the drain bolt and drain the fuel from the tank.
Disconnect the 3P connector in the trunk
Remove the two-way valve cover and the fuel hose protector
Disconnect the hoses.
While supporting the tank, remove the strap bolts and the fuel tank should be free.
4) Disconnect fuel lines and connector from the fuel pump
Remove the fuel pump mounting nuts
5) When installing, torque fuel pump mounting nuts to 4 lb-ft (6 Nm). Torque fuel line bolt to 20 lb-ft (28Nm)
