Can a 2003 yz 125 throttle cable fit on a 2010 yz 85

You might have some dirt or something floating in the carb bowl, and at full throttle it may **** it into the main jet. I would go through the carb thoroughly.

Disconnect the cable an see if it run freely ,It may be worn or broken .or simlpy dry and needs a good oiling .

you have a very tight throttle cable or its catching on somthing and when you turn it opens the throttle check this out fast its a killer,,,

GET A SMALL SCREW DIVER IN BETWEEN THE SHAFT AND SEAL PRY IT OUT WITH OUT DAMAGING THE SHAFT THEN USE A SOCKET FROM A TOOL KIT THAT FITS PERFECTLY AROUND THE EDGE OF THE NEW SEAL TO HAMMER IT BACK IN

YOU MIGHT BE BETTER OFF RINGING A YAMAHA BIKE SHOP... THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL YOU IF IT WILL FIT...

the only way to tell is to match them up with out knowing exactly what year they both are its hard to tell but the change every couple of years

Hey Ryan! Long time since hearing from you.

When you say "main clutch casing" do you mean the right side cover for the gearbox or do you mean the primary driven gear (AKA "clutch basket") that the clutch boss (AKA "clutch hub") and all the clutch plates fit into?

If you mean the right outer casing > they are slightly different, '97 pn 4JY-15431-10-00 and 2001 pn 4JY-15431-12-00. The entire clutch is the same from 1997 through 2001.

you just need to adjust your carb mixture screws located on the side of the carb this will adjust your tickover revs.hope this helps
